How does it work?
To start with, your Tiffin shall have two recipes to choose between viz. 'Bombay Frankie' or 'Tandoori Braai' each one with their own vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
Bombay Frankie is mainly sold on the streets of Bombay and has a fascinating story. Crafted with inspirations from Lebanon, Turkey and Iran and made popular by the Parsi nomads, it is a delicately made roti roll designed to explode its flavors with every bite. Hover on the picture for details.
Tandoori Braai If you love Indian flavors, what better than to marry them with the other love of your life - a braai. Hover on the picture for details.
All you gotta do is order them a day or more in advance and we'd have it delivered to your doorstep on your chosen date. Now use your recipe card and go DIY. Enjoy the process. Enjoy the result. Easy Peasy!

Tiffin
We live in a changed world. So until you consider it safe to come to us for cooking and eating meals together, how about we deliver unique Indian DIY meal kits and paired wine to your home.
Tiffin is an 'Indian English' word that became popular during the days of the Raj, derived from 'tiffing', an old English slang for taking a little drink. Over the decades, it evolved to mean a snack box that a woman will carry for her husband to the farm or children going to school.
Your Tiffin will look a bit different. It will contain pre-portioned ingredients that, when put together, will produce a unique Indian feast, guaranteed not to be found on restaurant menus, paired with an amazing bottle of red wine, a recipe card and a couple of surprises.
Bombay Frankie
This Tiffin, meant for two, shall have all the chicken (or paneer, Indian cottage cheese if you are vegetarian), uncooked rotis, pre-portioned vegetables & spices you will need to make yourselves some amazing, original Bombay Frankies.
Besides, it will have an amazingly paired bottle of dry red wine, an easy-to-use recipe card and a couple of surprises.
Not quite as scandalous as the picture, your Tandoori Braai Tiffin, meant for two, shall contain either chicken or paneer (Indian cottage cheese), veggies and some truly unique Tandoori marinades, rubs and spices to make yourselves a Braai and a Braai trick to remember.

Fancy mishmashing your Tiffin meals together with Gautami, the chef, and the participating couples or families over a virtual soiree? Then the #Tiffinparty is for you. Here is how this party rolls!
Your Tiffin will be delivered fresh within 24 hours of the evening you choose on the #Tiffinparty calendar. As the sun sets then, we will connect over a zoom call and meet each other virtually, that itself being an adventure since it would be the equivalent of having just met at the bar and straight on to the dance floor. As ever, the wine shall help.
Then, we'd discover the contents of our respective Tiffins with Gautami taking you through a little culinary lesson helping you put your dinner together. We'd chat on as we eat. Later, we'd dive into a virtual quiz night and see who's got the fastest fingers. And remember the box has a couple of surprises? This is the time for them. One of them might be a bit naughty ;)
A couple of playful surprises later, we'd say our good byes, hopefully, with a plan to meet in person soon after.
One Tiffin is for two people and can be ordered in chicken or paneer. The only items you will need besides the stuff in the box is oil, salt and a flame. Each Tiffin, including a bottle of paired wine, is priced at ZAR 999 including free delivery in the area stretching from Woodstock to Bakoven. if you stay beyond this belt, we can have it delivered to wherever you are in Cape Town for ZAR 100.
As parties go, the #Tiffinparty takes place as per a schedule - check out the calendar for the first two of them. A #Tiffinparty comes at no additional charge but you gotta reserve your spot on the calendar as the maximum screens in a #Tiffinparty shall be 8.
